Regarding Spanish translations of Philippine-issued documents
We have learned that translations submitted to the Spanish Embassy in Manila for visa matters must be done by an accredited licensed translator of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This means that our certified translations which are usually accepted by Philippines government departments and foreign embassies in Manila will not be accepted by the Spanish Embassy.
Nevertheless, if you need a translation through translators accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs we will be able to arrange this. The process will take a bit longer, so please allow at least several days for processing.
The above information is based on a written response to our question from the Spanish Embassy in Manila in November 2013. We are not liable for the accuracy of this information. If you learn of any different or additional information please contact us at our Manila translation office so that we can correct any errors and/or update the information on this page.
